Each summer following the Youth Leadership Oklahoma program, Youth Leadership Oklahoma holds an all class reunion, where all past graduates of Youth Leadership Oklahoma are invited to attend.

One of the main components of Youth Leadership Oklahoma is getting the chance to get to know and network with other Youth Leadership Oklahoma graduates. By building these networks, the pipeline of Youth Leadership Oklahoma graduates continues to grow even longer than the one week program.

Below are summaries of the past Youth Leadership Oklahoma Reunions all held in Oklahoma City at the Oklahoma Hall of Fame

YLOK Reunion 2017

Youth Leadership Oklahoma held its annual reunion this year on July 31, 2017 at the Oklahoma Hall of Fame. A record breaking 115 past Youth Leadership Oklahoma graduates were in attendance!

The evening started off with registration and mingling of those in attendance. Lee Anne Stone, Youth Director, gave a formal welcome to everyone and introduced Bailey Gordon, Director of Development for the Oklahoma Hall of Fame (and Youth Leadership Oklahoma Class 3 graduate!). Bailey gave an official welcome from the Hall of Fame and talked about the importance of the museum and the collaboration that the Oklahoma Hall of Fame has with Leadership Oklahoma.

Following this awesome welcome, Lee Anne had everyone in attendance introduce themselves to the group. Then,Youth Leadership Oklahoma Class 13 graduate, Travis Grayson, led the group in a few networking exercises to get them out of their comfort zones and to help get them to know each other better.

The group ended the evening with a tour of the Oklahoma Hall of Fame and many of the classes went on to have class dinners together.

YLOK Reunion 2016

Youth Leadership Oklahoma hosted its annual YLOK Reunion Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at the Gaylord-Pickens Home of the Oklahoma Hall of Fame.

The purpose of the YLOK Reunion is to bring past YLOK graduates together to network, reminisce, bond and obtain valuable information from a speaker.

The evening started with a welcome from Lee Anne Stone, Youth Director at Leadership Oklahoma, an introduction of past chaperones, interns, and a roll call for each YLOK class. The previous Isaiah Stone Scholarship recipients who were in attendance were introduced as well.

The keynote speaker for the Reunion was Lance McDaniel, Executive Director of the DeadCenter Film Festival and LOK Member. He spoke about the movie industry, how Oklahoma has become a leading place for filmmakers to make movies and about the DeadCenter film festival and how they could get involved.

The event was successful and so much fun for all to reconnect with their YLOK class and the collective YLOK network as well.

YLOK Reunion 2015

Youth Leadership Oklahoma hosted its annual YLOK Reunion Thursday, July 16, 2015 at the Gaylord-Pickens Home of the Oklahoma Hall of Fame.

The purpose of the YLOK Reunion is to bring past YLOK graduates together to network, reminisce, bond and obtain valuable information from a speaker.

The evening started with a welcome from Lee Anne Stone, Youth Director at Leadership Oklahoma, an introduction of past chaperones, interns, and a roll call for each YLOK class. The previous Isaiah Stone Scholarship recipients who were in attendance were introduced as well.

The keynote speaker for the Reunion was University of Oklahoma Women’s Head Basketball Coach Sherri Coale. Coach Coale spoke to the group about leadership on a team, but also personal leadership, accountability and always doing the right thing. She spoke candidly to the graduates and told many stories about her life and coaching career and gave the graduates an opportunity to ask her many questions once she was finished speaking.

The event was successful and so much fun for all to reconnect with their YLOK class and the collective YLOK network as well.

YLOK Reunion 2014

Youth Leadership Oklahoma hosted its annual YLOK Reunion Thursday, July 17, 2014 at the Gaylord-Pickens Home of the Oklahoma Hall of Fame.

The purpose of the YLOK Reunion is to bring past YLOK graduates together to network, reminisce, bond and obtain valuable information from a speaker.

The evening started with a welcome from Lee Anne Stone, Youth Director at Leadership Oklahoma, an introduction of past chaperones, interns, and a roll call for each YLOK class. The previous Isaiah Stone Scholarship recipients who were in attendance were introduced as well.

The keynote speaker for the Reunion was Kevin DeShazo, founder of Fieldhouse Media, where he has presented to over 45,000 collegiate student-athletes and coaches on how to use social media in a meaningful way. He spoke about the ins and outs of social media and how to use it to your advantage when job hunting.

The event was successful and so much fun for all to reconnect with their YLOK class and the collective YLOK network as well.

YLOK Reunion 2013

Youth Leadership Oklahoma hosted the first annual Youth Reunion in July of 2013 in Oklahoma City at the Gaylord-Pickens Oklahoma Heritage Association.

All past YLOK class graduates from the prior thirteen years were invited to attend the event. The turnout was great with over one hundred attending representing almost every YLOK class.

The evening started with a welcome from Lee Anne Stone, Youth Director at Leadership Oklahoma, an introduction of past chaperones, interns, and a roll call for each YLOK class. The previous four Isaiah Stone Scholarship recipients, each in attendance, were introduced as well.

The keynote speaker for the Reunion was David Woods, CEO of Giant Partners, who gave a talk about the importance of networking. Each attendee was given a signed copy of David's book, "The Art of Networking."

The event was successful and so much fun for all to reconnect with their YLOK class and the collective YLOK network as well.
