The application must be typed. Handwritten applications will not be accepted. It is important that each section be fully completed.  Limit your answers to the space available in this form. Do not send additional information. Applications must be signed by both applicant and employer/sponsor.


The Leadership Oklahoma Selection Committee seeks to identify individuals most likely to utilize their increased awareness and commitment to service to shape Oklahoma’s future. Participation is open to all citizens of the state. Applicants will be notified by mail of the selection committee’s decision by May 15, 2017.


Leadership Oklahoma program tuition is $3,200.00 (the application fee is not part of the tuition) and covers all program costs, transportation during sessions, and meals. Participants are responsible for their own transportation to the session locations and lodging expenses, except for the double-occupancy rooms during the opening retreat.


Leadership Oklahoma will hold an orientation session, a mandatory two-day retreat and eight two-day sessions.  The eight two-day sessions will begin early Friday morning and conclude Saturday at noon. Optional activities will be planned the day and evening before each class session and participation is highly encouraged.

Guests are not included in meetings or overnight sessions, except for the orientation.

CELEBRATE - LOK’s Excellence in Leadership Gala will be held April 21, 2018, at The Skirvin Hilton in Oklahoma City. The four awards to be presented at the gala include:

  • The Distinguished Graduate Award
  • The Business Leadership Award
  • The Statewide Community Award
  • The Lifetime Achievement Award
